Going Great Guns!

(My Mum loved to say that!)

Yes, progress has been made in the last few days....

Two quilts ready to baste...

The Pies and Tarts....

And the "Twist and Shout".....

I've decided to hand quilt this one!

And I have moved on a little with my hexies....

Finally I pulled this one out of 'isolation' to see how we felt about one another....

Does it still look like a 'dog's breakfast' ?

I've decided it deserved to be completed.....

So I am making all the little 4 & 1/2  inch blocks for two of the edges!

Linking up with Lee @ Freshly Pieced,

for WIPS Wednesday!

What are you working on this fine Wednesday?

Happy sewing!

Great guns? More like cannons! You go Suz, ride the momentum and clear out the UFOs.

Go Pogo Go!! You have been busy!! And it all looks wonderful!! Are your pies appliqued? Twist and shout really suits your perle stitches. I really like your Dogs Breakfast quilt!! It's got so much movement and depth! Your spotty hexagon is so much fun! I'm a sucker for red and white polka dots!

Well, I don't know what dog's breakfast is supposed to look like, but that is an interesting quilt, you've got going on!
And what are you hand quilting with? Is that an embroidery floss? Perl Cotton? Doesn't look like traditional quilting thread.
I pretty much only hand quilt, but have not ventured into anything my grandmother would not recognize as quilters thread, LOL! Maybe it's time!
