I decided late last year to try to use up some of my stash!
I chose all my reds, pinks, oranges, greens and some black and white for
contrast!
contrast!
Cut out lots of strips in a variety of widths...
And this is what I made...
So, this week, after an afternoon of FMQ....
I bound it....
and I'm happy to say...
I have a stash project complete!
I haven't quite decided where this is going yet?
To a happy home I hope!
But before it goes, it needs a name too...
It reminds me of watermelon and oranges!
Suggestions gratefully received!

You must listen to Rhonda (http://gapquilter.blogspot.com/)'s first podcast and you will retract the Watermelon!!!
Beautiful though - gotta love a finish!!
Suz - this is lovely - reminds me of a fruit basket (complete with grapes on the back). What type of thread did you use for your FMQ?

Wow, your quilt looks spectacular. What a great idea, I should do this with my stash too.
Great idea using your stash and having fun with it. Will have to give this one a try myself. My name for your quilt is Alsorts - because it is made up of all sorts of fabbie. I
It's really lovely Suz. Yes I like the idea of a fruity name.
I love this quilt! Nothing better than log cabin...it makes a lovely quilt! Love all the colors and the scrappy look :) And you got to thin out your fabric stash to boot!
Pretty! What great work! Thanks for linking up your Stash Project!
So cheerful and cheering. Very nice work! (Sorry, no name suggestion. I am not much good at naming quilts.)
Your quilt is fantastic. Inspires me to try more scrap projects. What about Berry Surprise for a name.
It's lovely and a lot of work to put it all together.... love the idea of fruit... lots in there so maybe it's a fruit salad? or fruit punch? Such a happy quilt..

That's one amazing quilt!! A name? "Fruit Punch" came to mind immediately and I see someone else has suggested it too. or "Fruit Tingle"?.
Nice work! There is something very satisfying about a quilt made with scraps.
Oh your FMQ looks so great! Such a fun quilt!
