Pattern testing this "Star Gazing" block
These heart blocks are from "Quilt Lovely",
which may become a quilt?
and my bee block, paper pieced, for Stephanie-
our Queen for April in the MCM Bee.
I picked up this bargain at a country op shop
nearly three metres of backing for $6!
(Just need to buy some matching thread and
I can start quilting the "Pacific Lime" quilt.)
And finally all these buttons sent by Cindy,
as a souvenir of QuiltCon!
Thank you quilty friends, I love these!

You've certainly been busy, Suz. And none of it looks very run-of-the-mill either, so well done. Big score with that backing - I can't decide the fabric's showing a school of fish from a plan view or if they are gum leaves with eyes?
You've been busy making lots of super duper blocks!! Finding that backing in the right colour for Pacific Lime was a fortuitous find!
So many beautiful blocks, you have been busy.
Your paper pieced blocks look amazing! I've yet to start mine.....
Happy Easter
So many nice blocks. Can't believe you've already done the April block for MCM. Way to go.
I love everything you have been busy creating, Suz! Isn't it so great finding backing at a bargain...I think you get the prize!!
Your blocks look great! I am so impressed you have the MCMbee block finished! I did download the instructions! ;) Happy Easter, Susan!
Plenty of block work for you. They do look good!
Great bargain with the backing!!
All those pretty blocks....I just don't know where to start on mine! Much inspiration Susan.
they may just be blocks, but you obviously put so much thought into fabric choices, and you are so precise - I love it!
Finding that fabric for your backing, win! You have been busy and none of those blocks look super quick to piece. Hope you are having a lovely break.
I'm amazed that you have our April MCM Bee block finished already! Love that center fabric. Very appropriate. You know how much I admire those heart blocks as I've been stalking you on Instagram ;-) Started mine today in between flying geese blocks ;-)) Glad you have the buttons from QuiltCon. They look so happy all hanging out together!
