Well, I don't know about Jack
but my life has been decidedly dull,
while my worklife threatened to take over!
So I took the opportunity last night to treat
myself...
and do a little stitching!
I am getting closer to a finish of Ginger Kisses...
(I have spent over thirty hours quilting this so far!)
Then today I made another feather....
to go with the first...
And to finish off the weekend a family celebration for
Daniel's birthday!
Dan and Jenny MrPnP and I |
Can't imagine where those years went?
That's probably enough excitement for one weekend,
cos its back to work for me tomorrow!
Happy days!

It's wonderful to see Ginger kisses being quilted. Your feathers are looking great in those colours!! Happy birthday Daniel.
Hi Suz, I'm glad that you got a break from work....the Ginger Kisses will be so beautiful with the hand quilting. Your feathers are so pretty...I"m trying not to get worried that my fabric hasn't arrived yet! Are you going to call it "Birds of a Feather"?
Ooh dear! Hope the play comes soon. Looking forward to the ginger kisses!

Looks like you turned it around for a great weekend xxx
I love your ginger kisses! The flea market fancy is perfect for the background. Glad you are stitching with a little wine...perhaps it will help blur the past work week! Great pictures! What a lovely family!
Glad you got some me time, and some family time!
Can't wait to see Ginger Kisses. The feathers look fabulous, and good to see you found some me time.
I'm loving those feathers! Hand quilting is a wonderful slow sew project and a good change from school stuff too. Your years seem to have passed well, all be it quickly.
I am tempted to start a feather quilt but don't dare until i finish many WiP
I really enjoy seeing your feathers! The combination of blue and orange is becoming a favourite of mine...
Nice way to play!

love those pictures at the end! adorable. and your feathers are lovely, saw Elizabeth's too, you'll have one neat quilt at the end! I envy your determination and patience with the pickledish quilting, and can't wait to see it finished :D
Some wine looks good... I love those feathers! Even though I think they're a bit of a pain to make (I did 6, called it quits and made a table runner with them).
