Resistance was Useless!

I was at my favourite fabric shop buying batting,

when I saw this.....


and of course it had to come home with me!


And it wasn't long before I had a plan!


It involved a little cutting...


and stitching...


and before too long I had a pretty pieced top...


This will become a baby quilt for a friend's Summer baby!


It is a simple free pattern from "Oh Fransson"!

Sometimes one needs some instant gratification! 

(Yes, I did change one of the prints for something from my stash!

Does it look better?)

Great sewing. After admiring the lovely fabrics I have to admit I was surprised to see them being made up. Most people aren't that quick with their new fabrics. The colours are so cool and pretty for summer and design shows them off so well.
