Peg Bags

or clothes pins....

That's what my North American friends call pegs!

I needed a new one and had 'pinned' Carla's version

(here) on Pinterest ages ago.

And before too long a friend ordered two more!

I was able to enclose all the seams by altering the

final assembly step!

They are a surprisingly quick make!

It's great to have another gift idea in the vault!

I think they'd be a good item for fairs and fetes too.

Happy sewing!

Zakka Peg Board.....

I had picked this out, fairly early on, as one of the

projects I definitely wanted to make

from the Zakka Style book!

I used a 5" hoop......

so its only little!

I used "Heat'nBond" to adhere those pesky bunting

triangles down first ....

And finished with a little pink polka dot peg!

I can see more of these in my future.....

Maybe a green one....

or a yellow one!

The cute little pegs are crying out to be used!

Linking up with LR Stitched, Zakka Along.....

Happy days!

Bits and Pieces....

Little bits of time = little pieces of sewing!

Another peg bag.....

which, I think, could also be a handy apron on cleaning day?

And....

a cute little hexagonal mug rug!

I had to 'wing' making this when I forgot whose I had seen it on!  Sorry!

I had great fun making this....

a view of the back...

quilting it with my new Aurifil thread and adding one of my little labels!

(shhh...these are destined for a giveaway soon!)

And a good mail day ....

has me dreaming of rainbows!

Three of my favourites!
What are you working on?

Happy days indeed!

Pins or Pegs?

Dryer or Washing Line?

Am I speaking a foreign language?

I'm talking laundry.....

Do you hang your washing outside...

Or do you use a dryer?

Do you use clothes pins or pegs?

If you hang your washing on the line and use pegs you might like this....

A peg bag!

My Mum made peg bags....

Because she didn't like seeing pegs left on the washing line!

Sorry- iPhoto would not let me turn this around!!

So the pegs lived in here til washing day!

I saw a clothes 'pin' pattern that I liked here....

And tweaked it to suit my own purposes.

My sister is moving into a new place so I thought she might appreciate one of

these!

Do you use an apron?

Happy days!
