Hearts Garden progress...

Has it really been two months since

I shared progress of my Hearts Garden quilt?

This is where I left it last time.

It now has its borders of lollypop flowers

Next there will be hearts, of course.

I have fabric sorted for the different parts,

And the corner log cabin blocks made too.

Playing with the layout of those triangles, the base of the heart shape

I’m thinking this one will be hand quilted,

So a finish will be some way off yet!

Should you wish to make your own Hearts Garden 🧡

quilt,

Elizabeth @occasionalpiecequilt has it for sale here

Happy sewing,

Wow, looks smashing so far and such a lot of work. Are you appliqueing by hand or machine? Take care & hugs.

Wow! Your quilt is coming along so beautifully. That lollipop border is fantastic and I love the birds. I think that little bits of hand sewing make quilts extra special.

This is looking wonderful Susan! I love how those bits of purple make the blues sparkle, the magic of fabric!

I did not care for this quilt as shown on the pattern cover, but seeing your version in your colors, I realize what a charming quilt it can be. I congratulate you for your color sense and ability to put touches of color here and there to make a perfectly delightful quilt! I am so glad you showed it on your blog.

I loved this process post of your Heart's Garden--yours is so beautiful, and makes me want to make it again (well, almost). I'll just look up your blog and look at yours instead. Congratulations on making it though the whole thing!
