The end of term couldn't have come quickly enough!
So Mr PnP took ourselves off for a short break.
We intended to go further but a combination of
factors saw us return today.
But sometimes two nights is enough to revive
flagging spirits.
I found this information very interesting!
It references this garment...
I can relate to this: "if the client's figure changed!"
The craftsmanship was incredible- this in the inside of the garment! |
We discovered a new theatre....
Kris Kristofferson at 83! |
a new winery,
Killiecrankie Wines |
and a new cafe......
Percy & Percy cafe |
and tulips!
I did a little hand quilting....
and hope to have this finished soon!
We are now planning another getaway for next
weekend...
A door in the old gaol- now the Ulumbarra Theatre |
with more music and food in the mix!
Happy sewing!

and life is good!!!
Beautiful pictures!
Sounds like a great little getaway. We don't do those much any more since we're both retired and happy to be living here in the nountains. Good music is always a good excuse to go anywhere.
Looks like the weekend was good, even though the weather wasn't the best. I do like the photo with the rusty artwork & the "British" tram is a stunner. Just popped you an email. Enjoy the rest of the week & take care.
That looks like the most perfect type of weekend away. Look forward to seeing your next adventure.
Getting away from the daily routine is always good for the soul. Especially with loved ones to share the experience. I just had a 3 day girls getaway with my daughter. Shopping, hiking, and wine tasting.
Looks like a fun getaway - even for a few days.
Looks like the perfect mini break, lots of great pics too!
It looks like a lovely get away. There is a lot on offer with in our state so it is great to make the most of it.
Lovely photo’s of a mini-break and a memorable concert!
I'm so glad to see that you're getting out and about, away from work drudgery, and finding new places to experience. Every place you visited looks pretty and relaxing. I always love seeing a tulip display, as I once did every spring in Pella, Iowa, a Dutch community. It's nice that you take along hand quilting when you go too. I hope your next getaway weekend is as nice as this one appeared to be.
