You have had a busy time over August. Two lovely finishes with the rainbow connection and Winter citrus. And now a tutorial a well. It looks like you had a good time with your blog anniversary. Congratulations!
Now I know where to send people when needing a good binding tutorial--thanks for posting this up. Very cool runner for your friend Helen--love those wavy lines. Sometimes simplest is best.
That's how I do my binding too! I was a little afraid to look because it might confuse me (spatial reasoning is my nemesis) but it was reassuring to see you do it the same way and yours looks so good all the time!!!! Love that gardenvale fabric! I've used bigs and pieces in my farmgirl quilt but mostly I'm stockpiling it.

Love the binding fabric and the orange and yellow flowered fabric, is it Gardenvale?

Darling runner, Susan! You've been busy. Happy for you to be tapped to share your talent!

Ohhhhh! I can't wait to check it out! How fun!
So pretty. I didn't realize just how small the little circle print is. It's one of my favorites from the line but I haven't seen it in person.
