Giving and Receiving....

I received a couple of special gifts for Christmas....

A new quilting book...


which I am really enjoying reading!



and this sweet embroidery!

And I gave this Art Folder...


to a friend, made with a tutorial by Thimbelina.

Finally the "Dog's Breakfast" quilt is being donated....

I made this in 2011, but have never had the energy to complete it!

to the Tasmanian Bushfire Appeal, written about here!


Right-o, I'm off to work the first day of the tennis!

The book looks so fun...I actually looked on Amazon for it yesterday and couldn't find it for sale yet...guess cause I'm in the US probably. Tennis...I'm so impressed!

Oooo. Love that "Dog's Breakfast" quilt! I've never sewed a quilt with purples like that. It looks great! I bet it will cheer up someone.
