Searching.....

In an effort to find my missing mojo I sat down and

did some book browsing....

Not quilting or sewing books but.....

Botanical Art books!

I love botanical art.....

I find the colours and designs inspiring!

I have some lovely pieces of botanical art I

treasure....

And this is a cross stitch of poppies I made in

my 'cross stitch days'!

In fact, I even took a watercolour class a few years

back....

I think I'd like to go back to it one day,

when I have the time and space.....

and the mojo!

Linking up with Mel for "Tuesday Treasures"

Happy days!

whoa!!! Your watercolor is very good indeed! You should go back to it {as well as continuing with your quilting, etc}...but I know how difficult watercolor is. You are very talented!!!

Gorgeous watercolour and cross stitch Suz. You should definetly go back to it. I love botanical art books too. The detail is amazing.

It is interesting how we move from one art/craft to another, some we do all along, some get left behind. Your painting and stitching are lovely.

Losing your mojo is never good, but it can be nice to take a break and use the time to gather inspiration and find old things you used to love doing =D

I am sure your mojo will return soon , your water color is incredible and you really should go back to that ,it would be shame to waste such talent.

I love botanical drawings and paintings and if I could paint like you, I'd definitely be doing some. It's wonderful. I have an overload of sewing mojo, I wish I could send you some.
