In an effort to find my missing mojo I sat down and
did some book browsing....
Not quilting or sewing books but.....
Botanical Art books!
I love botanical art.....
I have some lovely pieces of botanical art I
treasure....
And this is a cross stitch of poppies I made in
my 'cross stitch days'!
In fact, I even took a watercolour class a few years
back....
I think I'd like to go back to it one day,
when I have the time and space.....
when I have the time and space.....
and the mojo!
☺

Happy days!

whoa!!! Your watercolor is very good indeed! You should go back to it {as well as continuing with your quilting, etc}...but I know how difficult watercolor is. You are very talented!!!
I love botanicals, too! What lovely pictures. And I agree that you are very talented!
I'll echo Mary's sentiments and say that watercolour is amazing!!! You've certainly got a talent for that art!!
Yes I have to agree, your watercolour is fabulous. Very clever.
ah, the cross stitch days. For me that was 1979-1987...I made a truckload of projects. I hope your mojo returns soon.
It looks good... Hope your mojo will find its way back.

You have so many talents.
Wow, Thanks for sharing some of your past work, your cross stitch is beautiful and your watercolour amazing, so lifelike!
Lots of pretties xxx
Gorgeous watercolour and cross stitch Suz. You should definetly go back to it. I love botanical art books too. The detail is amazing.
It is interesting how we move from one art/craft to another, some we do all along, some get left behind. Your painting and stitching are lovely.
I love botanical art too...the poppies are great.
Just found your Blog and enjoyed my visit
Wow, you have many talents! Those little 'sashing' leaves in your stitchery are beautiful!
Losing your mojo is never good, but it can be nice to take a break and use the time to gather inspiration and find old things you used to love doing =D
I am sure your mojo will return soon , your water color is incredible and you really should go back to that ,it would be shame to waste such talent.
Forgot to comment on this. Love your watercolour, you multi talented woman you!
First let me say I am IMPRESSED with that water colour. Stick men are difficult for me. Mojo still hiding under the carpet!!!!!!!!
I love botanical drawings and paintings and if I could paint like you, I'd definitely be doing some. It's wonderful. I have an overload of sewing mojo, I wish I could send you some.
I hope you do make time to do some more watercolours...you have skill.
