I really enjoyed making these blocks!
I was pattern testing for Quilt Design Duo.....
and I'm expecting it to be available on their website
next month.
I loved the gentle curves and the fact that there
were no real seams to match.
I decided to sash all sides and was delighted to find
the daisy print at my local discount fabric shop!
I haven't decided on its official name yet, but I'm
sure something will come to me while I quilt it.
On a side note, these blue beauties arrived in the
mail recently!
I'm planning a Flowering Snowball quilt with these!
But I have my Boston Pavement blocks to get
back to yet.
Happy sewing!

Nice finish Suz and really soft curves give it a gentle look.... a bit oriental looking too!
Your blocks looked great. Now they look amazing all pieced together.
Well done. It looks great. The new bundle of fabric is very interesting & look forward to seeing it come together. Take care.
A lovely quilt! And the sashing looks great with them too.
Those blocks turned out so well. It looks like you are ready to dive in for more fun with those beautiful fabrics.
Love your curvy blocks. The daisy fabric really suits the look of the quilt.
What a fun quilt this is. Love the fabrics you used and how wonderful there were no corners to match. The daisy fabric is perfect for all those beautiful blocks. Ooh....look at all those pretty blue fabrics. I can just imagine what you will do with these pretties.
Oh, this is lovely, kind of like windmills.
I sure love watching how quickly you piece together a quilt top. This is such a nice one... though you always have a way of choosing just the right combo of prints. Are you quilting this by hand or machine? I've got three quilt tops basted now, and will be at my sewing machine for at least a couple weeks, getting them quilted.
Catching up again.
I do like these blocks. And the lovely selection of fabrics you have used.
It has turned into a gorgeous quilt top.
Hi Susan. This looks great, but I'm not sure about enjoying curved piecing. I'm quickly replying to some links before Nadal vs Millman. I really like Millman, and Deminaur too. You've really got some good talent in Australian tennis. NZ only has one player at the US Open - Michael Venus in the doubles. Thank you for linking up to the Peacock Party.
I noticed on "dutch comfort's" blog that you are considering to not blog. I love reading your posts and I admire your quilting. I love the colour choices that you select for quilts and the patterns. Please continue blogging in the future.
I'm drooling over your blues...p.s. Please keep blogging.
(I'm woefully behind on my reading, but am trying to catch up!)
These are fun little beauties! I like the idea of no seams to match, yet a fun curve that gives it a fresh look. As usual, you have the best color combinations. I love seeing your work!
