Six for Six!

Well, it took five or more attempts, but I think I have

 fixed my email notification problem.

And to celebrate here is my sixth quilt finish for the

year....

Six quilts, one for each month of the year, so far!

"If You Go Down To The Woods Today" is what I am

calling it.

I kept the quilting simple, to retain the softness

created with the Quilters Dream Cotton batting.

You can see the quilting here too!

I pieced the backing and I like how it mimics the

front.

Having no scraps to deal with is a good thing too!

I added one of my small labels tucked into the

binding.

I am giving this quilt to a friend for their first

grandchild, so I wanted to keep it simple.

This makes quilt #94 in my list of quilts made!

I hope this photo doesn't offend anyone....

then I will remove it...

Quilt #94, "If You Go Down To The Woods", measures 37" by 41", to be gifted.

HAPPY SEWING!

Fabulous quilt, and no offence taken by the last photo. So glad you blogger appears to be working properly now. I tried fixing it three times, and I have been getting the odd commentby email now. Are you still going to keep your wordpress site?

Love the border treatment and binding stripe which really compliment the quilt.

Thank you White Eagle- you are a no-reply commenter, so I'm replying here. I enjoyed playing the border. I wanted to make it a little larger but only had a certain amount of fabric to play with! And who doesn't love a striped binding!

This is such a good finish, Susan! So much effort to make a nice gift for a friend. Have you given it now? I bet the recipient loved it! (And I'm thrilled you're seeing comments again! Whoo-hoo!)
