A road less travelled....

I've been away for a few days....

Enjoying the tranquility of a beautiful B&B...

Yes, this IS a bathroom....

This is the view out the front window....

Although the weather was cool,

there were signs of Spring...

We've had lots of Spring rain...

so the Trentham Falls were flowing!

We travelled up to Mt Macedon...

with its Memorial Cross soaring skywards.

My father was station master here,

back in the 1940's.

There was much needed refreshment...

and some retail therapy too!

A new knitting pattern and a hand knitted scarf

Now I am itching to getting back to some stitching..

Happy days!

Oooh nice. It's been years since I've been to Mt Macedon. I hope that gave you a nice time to relax and recharge.

Fantastic, all of it. Love the bath - is that Aesop's soap I spy? The falls are magnificent and well done on fitting in a bit of retail too. One needs souvenirs to remember the trip, of course!

Ohh lovely fancy bathroom. It's really cool that your grandfather was the Macedon Station Master!!! It's such a beautiful place. I've noticed that your blogposts seem to be delayed before showing up on my blogroll. That's why I'm a bit slow to comment sometimes.
