The coast, coffee and a concert

As you may realise from the title,

there has been little in the way of sewing these last

few weeks!

There's been a short sojourn at the beach.....

Coffee in the country in a quirky cafe!

 And an Eagles concert!

I did happen to visit one of my quilts.....

And I finished Mr Bear for my grandson!

I'm hoping, with the approaching long weekend, I'll

have some serious sewing time!

Happy days!

Sometimes life gets in the way. I am still creeping along on my granddaughter's quilt ... and hoping she will still be young enough to enjoy it when it gets done.

I'm guessing this was a birthday/time-off-work sort of trip away, and that's great! From your pictures, the places you went look wonderful! The beach. The coffee shop. So happy you had a good get-away. Know what you mean about wanting to be in your sewing room. Between QuiltCon and then the awful post-QuiltCon Crud that so many of us came home with (mine was bronchitis and a chest infection), I too have been missing my happy place. Got the all-clear from the doc today, and am rarin' to go. It's so fun trying to decide what to work on first!

That blue water looks wonderful, would have been nice dipping the toes in it during the recent hot spell. Mr Bear looks great, so cute.

Oh, that bear!! So cute, Susan. I hope your grandson loves it. Lucky you to go to an Eagles' concert, and to have some time at the beach. I'd skip sewing, too, if those were my options!

Oooh, the Eagles - was it good? One of my favourite bands. That little bear is cute too. Happy sewing this weekend.
