happening here, in between family and work
commitments.
But that's ok!
I did knit up a tension square in this pretty blue wool,
finish my Chuck Nohara blocks for April,
and spent a wonderful day at the
Australasian Quilt Convention,
Australasian Quilt Convention,
meeting up with Deborah,
admiring Rachaeldaisy's gorgeous red and white
quilt!
And taking an English Paper Piecing class with Jess
Frost of Elven Garden blog.
Today I made the backing,
tonight I will get back to the sweet little bird!
More details of the Blue Wren cushion on Jess' blog!
Happy sewing...

You did have a fun day out Susan. Its nice spending time with like minded friends. What is a tension square, its very pretty.
That navy yarn is just perfect! Such a beautiful shade. Have a great week, Suz x
It sounds like you have been having a lovely time.
Looks like your visit to the AQC was fun - really love the Blue wren.
That is so wonderful to see a photo of You and Deborah!!!! I'm waving at you both! It's fun you noticed my little Happy Ducks flower centers. Your Chuck Nohara blocks are all so wonderful! Knitting looks so cosy and perfect now the weather is cooling down.
Good on you for knitting a tension square. I often skip that step - and regret it.
It looks like you and Deborah had lots of fun.
I love the lace, doilies and yo-yos on RachaelDaisy's quilt.
Pretty yarn you have there. What will it becime? Pretty blocks too
Thanks for such a fun day Susan.
I thoroughly enjoyed AQC and all the wonderful quilts. We must be on the same page as I also took a picture of Rachael's quilt to post about. I chuckled when I saw you had already done so. It was great to see and worthy of several posts.
Looks like you are planning ahead for our Winter with your knitting.
I really like the fabric selection for your cushion background. Perfect to come home from the show and work on a project.
Looks like a fun day with friends. That blue yarn is my favorite navy blue. Your chuck Nohara blocks look great.
