Do you remember this?
My runner for the Christmas Table Runner Swap held
at the end of 2011!
Much to my delight, it has finally been delivered
personally to Annabella, the intended recipient!
Susan @ Canadian Abroad was one of the Mamas who
organised this swap.
So when the runner was returned to my home in the
New Year, she offered to play postman!
It was handed over just recently when Annabella and
Susan met after the Fat Quarter Retreat!
Annabella knew she was receiving a runner but
thought it was a substitute,
not the original!
Even the little Christmas decoration was there!
Better late than never, hey!
A bit of paper piecing on the backing! |
I wonder if Annabella celebrates "Christmas in July"
like some of us do 'downunder'?
Happy days!

Oh my! That's incredible! Well, I am sure Annabella is eager to use her new table runner this Christmas! Great post Susan - it is so much fun when things work out fine in the end :)

It's beautiful!! She must be delighted receiving such a pretty runner! Glad you were able to get it to her! I've had trouble with the mailman too ... Hugs!
I saw the look in Annabella's face when she opened it. That was Si sweet of Susan to take photos. It was worth the wait.
Read Annabella's blog post, and wondered if you were "The Susan" - boy, you certainly get around!
Eventually this mama got it all put right. Phew! It is an absolutely gorgeous table runner.
So glad it got to it's destination eventually - it doesn't bode well for her luggage on the way home though - Annabella might want to keep it in her handbag!
Yay!! It's such a beautiful table runner that I'm sure Annabella thinks it was worth the wait. It's kindve cool that it got to go to the FQR!!!
I am so glad this beautiful runner finally made it to Annabella!
