Squares....

I used some of my playtime this week

to finish these....

I was intending to do a spiral

but I'm afraid my skills weren't up to it!

I am happy with it though....

Here's the second one....

with a slight quilting variation

They each finish at about 11"

I think I will make two more....

I have enough scraps, that's for sure!

Sadly playtime for me is over-

it's back to work tomorrow!

Linking up with Quilt Story-Fabric Tuesday
Happy sewing....soon!

I like the straight line quilting! I love to make mini's like this - so satisfying, especially if your short on time. These are really cute.

Sweet! Cute backing fabrics too. The straight line quilting looks great and I like the pattern on the second one, it really creates a different look!

Really darling! The quilting looks great with the simplicity of the designs. So sorry you have to be back to work now. Hang tough. Savour!

Great minis! I love the straight lines in stitching, but I have to disagree with you! Your skills are top notch and you are totally up to anything! But your straight lines look great and I love the freshness of the white.

It's amazing what some simple squares can do! Especially mini squares. These are so fun!

Yay, don't you love taking left over bits and making them into something cool like this? I love the colour gradations in the second one, especially. And I actually think the square quilting in the first one really suits it. But I'm contrarian like that ;)

I especially like the second one, with the graduated colour effect. I forced myself to make a baby quilt from my scraps over Easter too. I hope my attempt turns out half as well.

I think your quilting really compliments them ; )

Love these two little quilts! I think you are so clever to use up your scraps so creatively. I really like the second one, with the movement of colors from saturated to soft. Lovely!
