Due to an enforced period at home I have found lots
of different tasks to fill my time...
A "Lola" pouch...
This is Svetlana's wonderful pattern, found here...
I am planning on joining these hexies soon....
I have all but finished my "Melbourne Town"....
just working on these hexies,
the blue ones, not the pink.
I've started a blouse...
with the help of my new dressmaker's dummy.
Finally I am planning something...
with this pretty bundle of bought and gifted fabric.
No chance of me getting bored!
Happy days,
SUZ

Confined to barracks, hope all is well with you! Love your Melbourne Town, it's a real accomplishment - will it go on the wall? Good to see you're keeping those hands from being idle. No doubt you have tons of ideas to get through!
Hope you are well!! Glad to see there is no chance of you getting bored. What are you going to make with all those hexi flowers?
What beautiful wips. I think you're surrounded by goodness!
The tiny hexies look fab! And a lovely colour too. I'm sat doing some hand stitching this afternoon, some pumpkin seed hand aplique.
Hey Suz! Lovely makes here. Love that hexie project ; )
Your Melbourne Town quilt looks amazing, well done.
well your forced time at home has been very productive.......well done.........love it all.........
Your stay at home may have been enforced but you sure made good use of your time. The pouch is stunning in those lovely fabrics.
And Melbourne Town is wonderful.
Good luck with all the other projects.
I hope all's well. At least you've got lots of fabulous projects to keep you busy while you're at home.
Lots to keep you busy!
I have been wrestling with my dressmakers dummy today too – hemming the dress I need to wear on Friday. I will put it on tomorrow and ask hubby to check how well I did.
These are beautiful projects and I sure love what you have been doing with the Melbourne Town quilt. My magazine arrived last week so I can finally get started.
I never worry about you being bored! You always have plenty of projects and ideas on tap. Hang in there with those hexies!
Lots of good stuff going on here! I like the Lola bag out of the Charlie Harper fabric, and those pretty flower hexies.
Love your work...my question is do you ever sleep?
So lovely to see a nearly finished My Small World. And it is so beautiful. I'm still on section 1 but love the opportunity of seeing the ideas and inspiration of others. How will you quilt it?
Lots of fun things happening during your at home time! Love your version of My Small World. It looks amazing.
Hope the "enforced" at home time isn't due to a health problem. Gosh, you have some pretty things to work on though. Nice that you're sewing for yourself. That blouse is for work, I presume. As for your MSW... all I can say is "wow!" It's smashing! I just want to study that picture to fully take in everything that's there. You've done such a nice job choosing prints to go together. Would you say that you picked fabrics as you went along? I mean, did you choose all the prints for a section, or did you approach it simply row by row? I've been doing the latter, but I'm wondering if it will all seem to fit together when it's done. And I guess you'd say Section 6 is "the worst," as far as difficulty? I'm glad you're the sort who perseveres through a project. I sure can't believe you put that together AND found time to work on other things, and hold down a job. You're amazing!
great projects! your lola bag is so cute and those hexies are so so tiny!
I was going to say I hope your enforced home stay doesn't last too long, but it looks like you are really enjoying it, so maybe it should last a bit longer. ;). Loving your projects. I'm interested in your answer to Flourishing Palms question too, with regards to fabric selection, as Melbourne Town looks beautiful.
Who or what is forcing you to stay home? I hope everything is okay
I'm so behind on my blog reading that I missed this one...hope all is well by now and your confinement is over, Susan. I adore Charlie Harper's artwork but own none of the fabric. Your use of it is adorable!
Hope you are well. Everything looks fabulous! The pouch is perfect in every way! Perhaps the confinement is a good thing! I have a dog I could send to keep you company, but I am pretty sure that got Johnny Depp into trouble! Ha!
Hope all is well...a little concerned with the "enforced period at home". I do love your Charley Harper pouch! I have a bundle of these fabrics and don't quite know how to use them. Take care.
