It's warming up in Wellington NZ too. I saw blossom on some trees yesterday, but mine won't flower for another few weeks yet. It's so much better than a week ago when we had the heater on all day! More daylight sewing hours ahead.
It's very spring-y here too! Although we're supposed to get a 29 degree day this week and I'm not too keen on that - I'd rather a slow ramp up to summer. Enjoy your sunshine!
How lovely to be looking forward to Spring! Summer is on its way out here - I'm hoping that the Autumn and Winter will be kind to us as we still have a great deal to do in the garden! What a cute little quilt! A shame that the back won't show as well :-) Lynne.
Happy Spring to you! Sorry I missed this yesterday....family reunion weekend! Soooo....now I can officially say, "Come on Fall" !!! Have a great week...I hope it's full of Spring weather!
LOVE! I always look forward to your calendar quilts and to see how you put them together. I love dogwoods and what a wonderful picture at the top of your post. I'm looking forward to the temps cooling down and you are looking forward to them heating up. It's always fun to read your blog and to be transported to another clime!
What a lovely tree! And it smelled good too? What kind is it? Another pretty Polaroid quilt. You're keep up with these so diligently! What WILL you do with yourself each month of 2015?!

ReplyDeleteIt makes me think of wonderful cherry blossom picnics in Japan ... in the cemetery. In Japan, the dead like visitors and company.
