This quilt top had been finished for some time,
so it was time to bite and bullet and
get it quilted and done!
I started out with some simples straight diagonal
lines, a quarter of an inch on either side of the
piecing...
The centre panel was going to need something, so I
decided to go with the swirls again!
There are some little red French knots on the wreath |
While it is very time-consuming, time is something
we all seem to have more of lately!
Perhaps it's snow?
Before our shutdown, Darn Cheap Fabrics had all
patchwork fabric for $5 a metre....
so I picked up the red backing and dark green spot
for binding!
I still have not named it....
Considering "Dear Deer"???
And no glamour shots-
a simple blog post for a simple quilt!
Quilt No.4 for 2020
Lifetime quilt No. 122
42" square
Art Gallery "Snuggle" pattern
Stay safe friends,
and happy sewing!

ReplyDeleteI was just thinking "snow" before you mentioned it. Cute way to showcase a panel.
ReplyDeleteGreat finish and lovely work with your quilting. It is good to catch up on tops that need quilting. Great buy with those fabrics.
ReplyDeleteExcellent quilting! Ive already told you how much i love how this turned out. Some suggestions of words you could include in the title... Festive, vintage, Scandanavian, woodland... I'm sure there is more 😆
