Ooops!

I really did intend to quilt one last WIP before I

started something new....

Only some of these made the final 'cut'!

But I was laid low with a head cold and couldn't face

the basting part!

So cutting and piecing my Outback Wife stash was a

much easier option!

This is just a rough layout, while I worked out how

to fill in the gaps.

While I was piecing this together,

I discovered I had miscounted my blocks, so the full

reveal of a quilt top will have to wait a little longer.

In the meantime, here is the label I have prepared....

I've decided they will become part of my signature!

Happy sewing!

  6. I remember when you bought up all that barkcloth. So glad to see you moving ahead to use it, though I'm sorry it was a head cold that sent you that direction. Miserable, I'm sure. And a quilt commission?! Well, good for you! I hope it works out, and that you don't undervalue your talent. I ended up not making a requested commission quilt when the potential customer learned how much I would charge. I'm wishing you the best with that!

  7. I love what you're doing with the Outback Wife stash, can't wait to see the final reveal. Both Hubby and I are sick, I have a cold also and haven't sewn much until today. Congratulations on your first commission, SuperStar Suz.

  13. Hope you are feeling better Susan. And looking forward to hearing more about the commission... which I always seem to find very stressful.
