is my sixth finish for the year!
It is a scaled-down version of the Meadowland quilt.
I added a thin sashing to change it up some more.
It's not a big quilt- about 52" square.
I quilted it in a variety of wavy lines
both from my machine's stitching options and some
free motion ones.
It's now looking for a new home!
This is quilt #106 on my all-time list!
Happy sewing!

Hello Suz,
ReplyDeleteI like the sashing with the pattern and of course your choice of colours.
Happy Mother's Day for you, Doris :o)
What a nice change-up the sashing and cornerstones made! I love the fussy cut centers, !especially the bicycle. Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute quilt, Susan. How nice to have another finish, and a quilt at-the-ready in case a need arises. It looks smashing, and someone will be lucky to receive it. Hope you've had a lovely Mother's Day spent with children.
ReplyDeletelovely job
ReplyDeleteThis has come together very nicely. Love the fabrics and the way they work so well in these blocks. The smaller blocks have worked really well.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, too.
I like the added sashing. It gives the pattern a whole new look. Well done.
ReplyDeleteYeah for another finish . . . it's lovely with the sashing added.
ReplyDeleteLove all that bicycle fabric, and am sure the name of it came from that design (or your love of cycling--either one). Congrats on another finish! It's a great size, and hope it finds a home soon.
ReplyDeleteReally interested to know how the yellow sashing came about as it doesn't look like there is yellow in the rest of the fabrics? Althouh it looks smashing and sometimes it is the unexpected that turn out the best.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful quilt - I love the colours.
ReplyDeleteLooks so good with the sashing and quilting. Well done.
