Gifting...

I decided to join the Aussie Christmas Swap...

I hope I have nailed my partner's preferences with

this...

from "Sweetly Stitched Handmades",

by Amy Sinibaldi.

And when you're on a roll....

this cute cushion for Poppy,

from the same book!

Every piece of fabric came from my stash...

so I am linking up to Scraptastic Tuesday,

on Wednesday!

Happy sewing!

  1. Super cute makes, Suz! I think there will be squeals of delight from each of the lucky recipients when they open these special gifts. Love the details included with each (like those sweet hand stitches - always makes my heart squeeze seeing them and can't miss with adding pom pom trim!).

  9. These are so amazingly cute, Susan. I particularly like the bear's trapunto nose and pom-poms.

  12. Darling things, Susan! I especially like the pockets in the first piece that make it so practical. I completely understand your pride in sewing all of it from your stash. It's great when that happens! Unfortunately for me, I ran out of two fabrics on my latest attempt to "sew from my stash." Hate it when good plans go awry. Your projects here sure went as planned! Nicely!

  13. I need to do some catching up! Lovely gift you have made for your swap partner. What a great idea. Did you make one to keep as well?
And the cushion is a delight. Another wonderful idea. The fabrics are great in this one, too.

  14. That house is the cutest ever. I can see I need to add that to my list of clever things to make. And that adorable bear pin cushion made me smile. I'm not a pin cushion user, but I have enjoyed seeing all the different cushions I see popping up on blogs, and this one is stellar. (I'm still smiling.) I think I'm all caught up now on your blog (sorry to be so slow in the reading of it), and there's no need to reply to all my comments. Let that be a New Year's gift to you! I've enjoyed seeing all your creative work and am appreciative of all your productivity--a good example for me to follow!
