Just one project to share today.....
(because there hasn't been much progress on anything
else!)
else!)
I decided it was time to make use of this pretty, little
stack of fabric!
Add some linen and green stripes for binding,
I'm making some placemats.....
inspired by a tutorial here.
I'm off to find some backing in my stash!
What work do you have 'in progress' today?
Happy sewing....
As its Wednesday, I'm linking up here...

That fabric is so pretty. I love the summery colours and look forward to seeing the completed placemats.
ReplyDeleteI have the rest of the week off work and plan to finish a cushion which I'm in the process of quilting.
I was looking for a project just like this, thank you for the inspiration, your placemats are made using one of my favorite fabric lines!! Thank you for sharing the link!!
ReplyDeleteI'm unpacking boxes and would much rather be doing what you're doing!
ReplyDeleteNow I want to make placemats too! They are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteOooh, very nice! I have that very same little pack. How far does one pack go? 4 placemats or just two?

ReplyDeleteHappy Placemats really make meals nicer. Will you make napkins to match?
ReplyDeleteWhen my kids can be trusted to keep their food on the plate, I may consider making placements, until then, I'm keeping the fabric safe!
ReplyDeleteThese look lovely - are you using one of the mini charm packs Susan?
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - they look too good to use.
