Playing Catch-up!

Life has been hectic, but we have moved and are

happily enjoying rural life!

A "cut leaf" Banksia in my garden

So there has been little sewing but lots to celebrate!

My sewing room is waiting for me.

It is much smaller than I'm used to but I'm okay with

that!

My AFL (Australian rules) football team won the Grand

Final.

The tulips are blooming in Bendigo...

Today I intend to play with these doily and fabric scraps.

There is a destash market coming up and I thought someone might be interested in a drawstring bag, or two!

Happy days!

  5. I'm really happy for you to be in your new rural home. It's great to see your sewing room too. Looks like you have good light, and I can see that lovely umbrella clothesline in your back yard. I know for a fact that such a clothesline is the perfect place to take quilt pictures! I miss my clothesline SO much. Glad to see you've been to Bendigo (I've been there too!). And it's great that you're sewing again, using old linens to make something new and charming. Enjoy yourself! I hope you make lots of new friends in your neighborhood.

  6. Good to see you getting organised & your sewingroom looks larger than mine & I so miss my old studio, but I keep on quilting anyway. Those tulips in Bendigo look lovely & we were in Daylesford last weekend & it was super busy, though we didn't stay long. Your team trounced mine (sad look). Have a good weekend, take care & hugs.
