Foxy Forest Finish!

I picked up some backing for this quilt recently,

And spray basted it with my favourite homemade

spray!

I chose to quilt it with a curved line found on my

machine's stitch options.

I already had some
pretty orange binding ready, so

once I was started, it was finished in no time!

I decided to wait until this weekend to get some

‘forestry’ photos....

The backing can be seen here

I love how this turned out....

I'm hoping my d-i-l would like it for our next

grandbaby, due in March!

Quilt #99
Finished size 40" by 37"

Happy sewing!

  6. This is sure cute! That backing is just too perfect. And don't I love seeing that you're using that homemade basting spray. I have hesitated to use it when sandwiching a big quilt, but this one seems like the right size for it. So glad it's working for you. And that quilting - it's called the serpentine stitch - is really good with the quilt. You know the quilt will be well-used and washed, so you wouldn't want to put anything more than basic quilting into it. You did a super job. And you're done early too. That's most impressive!
