My sister was recently admiring this little Bento bag,

I stumbled across a variation which joined the
handles,
instead of knotting the ends as in the original.
So I followed this version
and stitched the ends together....
and added a spotty handle.
This bag now holds 800g of yarn, needles and
pattern ready for my next knitting project!
Quick and very satisfying!

Cute and a great switch up on a pattern.

Ooo I love it..
ReplyDeleteYes, I too love it, pretty & so useful! And such gorgeous fabric!
ReplyDeleteThis is encouraging me to try bento bags again. I can see how the handle version would work better. Otherwise, the combo of outside and lining can be a bit bulky to tie.
ReplyDeletePretty fabric. What are you knitting now? Hows the hand healing?
ReplyDeleteSo cute and very practical.
ReplyDeleteQuick and very cute which means very inspiring for me. I love it with the handle.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have a quick (and oh so pretty) finish!! Thinking of you and hope you're healing quickly.
ReplyDeleteI love those bags that have the side seams and that folded look, and now I'm glad to have a name for them. Your Bento Bag is really cute, with that spotty hand-hold. Seems to me it would give you more room, too, rather than tying it down low. Great job!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is a delightful variation, Susan! Love that extra detail of adding spots for the handle - so cute!
