ReplyDeleteThe Starry Sky block is in my "to do" pile and I'm thrilled to be done with one Lola Pouch - thanks for the inspiration. That pattern took tricky turns, but at the end of the day was really easy - thanks for sharing the info.
ReplyDeleteLove the pouch and that cheery polka dot binding! You always have such a nice mix of things going on.

ReplyDeleteLovely blocks all round but I especially like the first one. Vibrant colours and so many wonderful background fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSo I gather you have to add something to the chair block? What about a lamp, or window with venetian blinds - - just reminds me of that era.
Those MCM blocks make my heart go pitter pat! I'm sure whatever you add will be awesome!
ReplyDeleteMary picked a neat block for MCMB, didn't she? And those X blocks are really nice... and for such a good cause. And the pouch is darling too. Isn't it nice to sew small, easy projects once in a while? You do it so nicely!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks. I really enjoyed Mary's block. It seems that with every member, every month, you all pick such great blocks and have beautiful ideas that I want to make a copycat quilt.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to see what's coming out of the PatchworknPlay Workshop!
ReplyDeleteI love the block line-up and the sweet little pouch for a friend. And what a great idea to get a graphic arts book to generate ideas for your quilt!
