Squares....

I used some of my playtime this week

to finish these....

I was intending to do a spiral

but I'm afraid my skills weren't up to it!

I am happy with it though....

Here's the second one....

with a slight quilting variation

They each finish at about 11"

I think I will make two more....

I have enough scraps, that's for sure!

Sadly playtime for me is over-

it's back to work tomorrow!

Linking up with Quilt Story-Fabric Tuesday
Happy sewing....soon!

  1. I like the straight line quilting! I love to make mini's like this - so satisfying, especially if your short on time. These are really cute.

  8. Great minis! I love the straight lines in stitching, but I have to disagree with you! Your skills are top notch and you are totally up to anything! But your straight lines look great and I love the freshness of the white.

  14. Yay, don't you love taking left over bits and making them into something cool like this? I love the colour gradations in the second one, especially. And I actually think the square quilting in the first one really suits it. But I'm contrarian like that ;)

  15. I especially like the second one, with the graduated colour effect. I forced myself to make a baby quilt from my scraps over Easter too. I hope my attempt turns out half as well.
