Oooh! Lots of pretty goodies.
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to pick favourites among so much loveliness, but I like the two chicken prints ... and everything in the fourth pic!
Ohhhhh, I am not sure what made you squeal but for me those baby chicks and the fabrics in the fourth picture, especially the little aqua flowers. I would pet them for a while before I cut into them. Oh such a happy post!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fabrics! I hope your guy is mending.
ReplyDeleteWhat, what, what??? When did Big W start selling fabric? Is it any good?
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the man of the house is on the mend. Perhaps you could sew him a quilted ice pack cover!
Love all of your fabric! Have you made Steam Punk? That is what is on my list to do and you have a lot of fabrics that would work perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLots of gorgeous new fabrics to play with!! I agree with Mary's suggestion of Steam Punk.
ReplyDeleteOooo!! Nice pick up Suz, I'm loving the print fabric, I've been looking for some of that.
ReplyDeleteI adore Saffron Craig fabric! You have a really nice selection of new fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but I really like the low volume pieces.
ReplyDeleteSuch a PRETTY collection of fabrics!!! I need to take you along with me when I go fabric shopping dear!!! :)

ReplyDeleteHope Mr PnP recovers quickly. Love all your purchases, and I'm going to my local Big W tomorrow to see if they have anything nice.

ReplyDeleteI like Rachael's idea of Steam Punk too!
Lots of lovelies there, Susan! I will have to think about the what to make question...but these are great fabrics! So glad Mr. PnP is home and healing.
ReplyDeleteWow lovely choices, you deserve it for being 'sirs' nurse maid!
ReplyDeleteHope he's on the mend?
Your shopping spree is fabulous! I know that $7.50 a meter is a great price. Good for you to bargain hunt like that - ha! After seeing that last print, I'd be making cupcakes or macaroons, if I were you! Yum.
ReplyDeleteSeriously good shopping, but not so good the not being able to sew and the poor mr.
ReplyDeletePresuming Mr PnP came off his bike. Lots of great buys there love the fabric with writing on it.
ReplyDeleteA lovely haul.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes forget that Darn Cheap Fabrics has a good range. Always worth a visit.
I do hope hubby is mending well.
Some good bargains there, and a nice range of fabrics. I think one of the lovely scrappy quilts would look great using some of these, maybe a scrappy nine patch or something like that.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful additions to your stash : )
ReplyDeleteI want to go fabric shopping!!! So many fun good finds.
ReplyDeleteReally - Lizzy House at Big W? Lovely finds and hope your husband feels better soon :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stash! Those running bugs are adorable!
ReplyDeleteWow - what a wonderful haul. Even better to be on special! I love all of it, so would struggle to guess which is your favourite.
ReplyDeleteLove all of your new fabrics. Darn Cheap Fabrics....what a great name! Is is Australian? Hope Mr. is doing okay.
ReplyDeleteSo many great fabrics! What a boost to your stash.
ReplyDeleteYou have some beauties there. How is mr PnP getting along?
ReplyDeleteI love getting this virtual tour of your new acquisitions! And yes, since you are nursemaid and teacher and "chief cook and bottle washer" (my Dad's old saying), I think getting a little pick-me-up in the form of fabric is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteTell your husband he has my sympathy as I can remember my husband Dave's similar bike accident. Heal well!
Elizabeth
Oh, what fun you have been having! Do you love chocolate?
