When I showed you these scraps,
I intended to play with them!
And this is the result....
the back first, before I ironed it!
This measures just 11 and 1/4 inches.
As does this one!
I'm thinking of either combining them into a mini,
Or should I keep them separate?
I have plenty more of these scraps to play with,
in the meantime!
Happy sewing!

Very pretty scraps - I see a series of minis coming on xxx
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I'd keep them seperate and keep playing to see what other formations you come up with.
ReplyDeleteOooo!! love the scrappy block, interested to see what you end up doing.
ReplyDeleteoooh, got enough for nine blocks? 3 x 3 set up. I could see a starburst pattern with your second block as the centre, then 4 of your first block as each diagonal corner, then another 4 blocks in the centre of each edge.
ReplyDeleteLotta work though, sorry!
I love them. Great 'playing' came up with great ideas.
ReplyDeleteI think keep them separate too. I wonder how many different combinations you can come up with.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh! I love these! And how tiny! I think you should keep them separate as well. It is a series. Isn't it fun to just play around without any worry of getting it right!
ReplyDeleteSo very fun. I'd keep them separate but it might depend on what the rest of your little pile turns into.
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! What tiny pieces. I like the above comment of the starburst. You could also make a few more and frame them in white and then put them together into a table topper or wall ganging. I think if you keep them separate you may loose them.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing what else becomes of those pretty scraps.
So much fun! They'd make great cushion covers...maybe front and back?
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous! Soooo tiny though, I don't know how you can have the patience!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! Love the pops of colour.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Hmm, I'm thinking separate.
ReplyDeleteThey look stunning. I think I agree with keeping them separate.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! If you made some more you could piece them into a much larger quilt.
ReplyDeleteSo cool Susan! I'm torn, I like them separate but also like the idea of a bunch of them made into a larger project!
ReplyDeletethese are just the sweetest - I think they would make amazing minis. Glad you are finding some time to play :-)
ReplyDeleteSeparate please (-: and loverly.
ReplyDeleteI love those tiny pieces. I would keep them separate or make another of each and then combine them.
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! They look like a pillow back and front. You could do that and call it done... if you're wanting to move on to something else.
ReplyDeleteYou played well! They are both really effective in their own ways and I think 'keep them separate' .. but what do I know! You will decide the right thing. ;) xCathy
ReplyDeleteVery clever! I love the first, like mini shadow boxes. It will be interesting to see what you make from the next batch of scraps.
ReplyDeleteSuch a creative use of scraps, with a beautiful finish. I say keep them separate..
ReplyDeleteLove both, but very fun to keep them separate. I can't wait to see what they came from (their mother-ship block). You may have started a new trend!
