Testing Times...

Yes, it's that time for all teachers

in the Southern Hemisphere....

corrections, report writing,

prize nights and transition meetings!

Sewing time has been rather infrequent...

but when I saw on FB

there was a free Kindle download to be had...
I could't resist!

I had the ideal fabric,

sent by my + and X friend, Carla...

with a perfect name!

It's not that I needed another pincushion!

But the little thread catcher was perfect

for 'couch surfing sewing'!

I definitely need a place for my loose threads!

It might just save some vacuum time...

which should make Mr PnP happy too!

Happy sewing!

Susan

  4. this is fantastic - I leave threads all over the sofa at the moment after hand sewing in the evenings. May have to just find some extra time to try to make one!

  14. It's great to see how you've made good use of that lovely charm pack from Carla. Such a practical thing to make, especially since it appears you're well stocked with pin cushions! So sorry to know about your extra workload now. I hope this busy spell passes quickly.

  21. I suppose I'm lucky that (a) I'm not a teacher and (b) my kids are still too young to be worried about end of year "stuff". Very cute thread catcher/pin holder... I'm sure Mr PnP was impressed!
