Cherry Ripe....

Does everyone know the delights of a Cherry Ripe?

That's what I have named my latest finish!

I had a little 'nibble'...

JUST to show you the yummy choc/cherry centre!

The back is definitely 'chocolatey'!

You can see the quilting a little bit

better from the back!

I am donating this to the Children's Hospital,

via the Victorian Quilters Inc

"Quilts of Love" project....

I hope it makes a young girl happy,

and think of chocolate!

(This is another finish off my F-A-L 4th quarter list!)

Happy Days,

Susan

  3. We don't have cherry ripe, but it looks as yummy as your quilt! What a special quilt for a little girl who needs something to cuddle. And I noticed that it looks like a block S is pieced into the quilt! S for Susan! Love it!

  6. A fantastic finish and a project that will lift any child's spirits. Brown and pink are always great partners, whether in fabric or food. Very hard to go wrong with those two.

  18. Does this block pattern have a name? I really like the way it makes an S shape and a very pretty quilt! I would like to make something similar as it looks easy enough for a beginner.

  28. Such a pretty quilt, Susan! So lovely... almost too lovely to give away. But that you are giving it away says a lot about the kind person you are. The name suits it perfectly. (So sorry to be this far behind in reading your blog! I need to stay home more!)
