WIPs Wednesday....

Before I went on my little break

I finished piecing my

Rocky Mountain Puzzles blocks....

And have decided to use a vintage sheet for backing.

It's a little more pink in real life.
I just need to get some batting organised.....

I couldn't resist making another pin cushion,

from the "Patchwork Please" book!

I added some stitching and

a little yo-yo in the centre...

And while I was playing, I decided to make

the Market Bag....

Both these were going to put put aside for

Christmas gifts.....

Can you tell I love this bag?

I even remembered to put one of my

labels on the inside!

Aren't these lady bugs cute!
The lining is from Terry's Fabrics!

(They kindly sent me a sample or two!)

I'm not sure I can give this away!

I have another project lined up too....

But that can wait for another day!

What WIPs do you have 'on the go'?

Happy sewing!

  15. Doesn't it feel good to intersperse quick little projects among the big quilt-y pieces? Your pin cushion and tote are great! Especially love that bag! I don't think we can ever have too many of them. But your Rocky Mountain Puzzles quilt is going to be amazing. Have you picked a different name for it yet? Will you quilt it yourself?

  17. All lovely.
I have a long, long list of WIPs and to-dos, made longer by the looming prospect of Christmas presents. Patchwork Please is such a great book. I think everyone in my family will be getting something from it (market bags and placemats, etc.) for Christmas.
