A hot water bottle cover,
for a charity in New Zealand.
Adrianne from "On the Windy Side"
provided the tutorial...
(and she is having a fabulous giveaway
here at the moment too!)
Of the five quilts I have 'on-the-go'
I have worked on....
another Rocky Mountain Puzzle block...
to go with these!
And Linda kindly made me this cute flamingo one
to add to my collection!
He's perfect, isn't he?
I have also added to my City Sampler blocks...
And finally I have hand pieced this 6" star
for my Museum Medallion!
With the first school semester almost at an end
and the winter solstice imminent,
there's much to celebrate!
I'm off for a few days at the beach...
I'll draw the winners of my "felt" giveaway
when I return....
See you soon!

Your hottie cover looks great Susan - love the colours! Oooh, I adore that flamingo block - he's such fun! The others are lovely too. The Museum Medallion block looks tricky - gosh I love the colours you have used for that quilt. Have fun at the beach!
ReplyDeleteWow! You have been busy! I wish I could say the same :) The hot water bottle cover is a great idea. Much better than just and old towel. The Rocky Mountain Puzzle is such a great design. It is fun to have a block that you can fussy cut a center. Have a great trip and I hope you get lots of rest and relaxation!!!

ReplyDeleteThe medallion is amaZng, and that flamingo, so so cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling water bottle cover! Quite interesting that it's for a charity. You've been a busy girl, I think. I especially like your medallion center. And, I'm still pleased as can be that you like the flamingo block. It was MY pleasure!
ReplyDeleteThis is a comment to congratulate you on becoming one of Cindy's Name Game Girls (there's a few of us!)! You are at the beach (hopefully having a great time), but I wanted to tell you how lovely that post was--fun to see the gingham and all your other very lovely quilts! You are a master quilter--and that shows also in this lovely post with all that you are doing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the beach!
