Gifted.....

I received some lovely birthday presents, 

but the nicest handmade one gifted to me was.....


this beautiful table runner!

It was made by my very dear, and very gifted friend

It IS straight- just my bad photography!



Linen, wool felt, tiny French knots and hand stitching!


I am very privileged to own such an exquisite piece of 

fabric art, made by a very talented lady!

    Happy Birthday. I have net Mary when she came to demo the big stitch to my guild. Occasionally I see her at the quilt shop Sew to Speak. Lovely lady....you are one lucky friend to have a piece of her work!
