HELP!

Blogger is telling me I cannot upload photos to my

blog unless I purchase more space!

I haven't heard of this before!

Is there another way I can get photos to my blog

without having to pay?

Can someone advise me please!?

Thanks everyone, I have a solution, albeit a temporary one!

  1. That happened to me, after a lot of swearing I purchased more space, and haven't had a problem since. I think there is another way around it but I have no idea how, hopefully someone else will be able to help you.

  3. Not sure if it is the easiest but the way I do it - upload the picture to PicMonkey (play with it if you want), then click 'save', it will show you how big the picture is, could be c. 2500 x 3000, you have to change the largest figure to 800, it will automatically adjust the other one. Save and then use this picture - you can keep uploading as many pictures as you want as long as they are 800px or less for free. Or you can upload to flickr and copy the code from there xxx

  4. Well, Hadley seems to have a solution. I just paid the money. Easiest option at the time.

  5. Hi Suz, I'm on my second year of paying for photo space.
For the little money it costs, it's worth it to me.
I did try uploading from picasa but when I posted they came out with the rainbow picasa logo.

  6. It's really rude isn't it, you don't hear about it until you can't upload any photos. Hadley seems to have a good solution.

  9. Oh no, I have heard of this. I don't upload my pics to Blogger - I put them all on flickr and then insert text links when I post. But then again professional flickr annual fee is $40 so looks like you're ahead of me!

  11. yes yes It just happened to me!! I could not believe it. Folks said to erase old posts that were useless...but I did not have the energy...I just paid. AFter I paid, I was soooo relieved. I figure that that is it...It is worth it, albeit a shock!!!!

  12. Not sure what Hadley's suggestion is (Cant seem to find it) but to get around it I've opened a Google+ account. I upload pics to the account. When you write your blog posts and you want to upload a pic you'll find the option on the left "From Picassa web albums" your pic will be there. Haven't had a problem yet. Hubby and I figured Goggle were trying to get people on their new social media site this way. Very Sneaky!!!

  13. Oh and I thought I'd add... Definitely don't delete pics, I've learnt this the hard way. It will leave a big black square in place of your pic on your blog if you do!

  15. I pay 5 dollars for extra space on Picasaweb annually. It's enough to last me a while.
