I love this range of fabric.....
And look how much I have!
Probably enough for 2 quilts...
and maybe a purse or pouch or two?
A book bag from the alphabet fabric?
I'd love to hear your ideas on what I could do with
this wonderful fabric!
Maybe granny squares?
Or a stained glass quilt?

I'm sure that anything you do with the fabric will look great - it is just simply great fabric! Insanely jealous!!! And I'll be interested to see how your dress turns out - would you wear it with tights/boots or with pants underneath?
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you like it. I have one project on the go with mine but am still trying to decide what else to make too.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous fabric, I have no idea what you could do with it, but I'm sure whatever you make will look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteSo funny- I just posted what I'm making with Summerville. You hit the jackpot with that huge pile of fabric!! I really like the idea of a cloth book. That dress is so fabulous, I'm impressed you can sew clothes too, is there anything you can't do?
ReplyDeleteSomeone made a cute bag out of it at the retreat. The fabric combines well with plain linen or calico. I also have seen the cutest bits of fabric filled in with embroidery, that goes exceptionally well! Best of luck and have fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great haul! Well done!
ReplyDeleteLove the dress pattern, are you wandering into the exciting world of knits?
Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI think they would look good paired with a solid colour with a shoofly type block?
Oh! Wow! I love that line! We have it in the shoppe and it is soooo tempting. I am sure you will find the perfect project. I love the look of alphabet fabric as a background....just a thought...hee hee! Great dress pattern.
ReplyDeleteI love Summerville. Can't wait to see what you have made.
ReplyDeleteI might have to get that dress pattern, too. It looks right up my style.
You're so lucky - be sure to buy a lottery ticket this week :) I just purchased a fat quarter of the whole lone. It's so wonderful. I don't know what to make yet but will definitely save it for a special project.
ReplyDeleteLucky you! I love the Summersville fabric, I bought a little last week to make into a wristlet. Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours!

ReplyDeleteWow I love this fabric too. I saw that you could embroider some of the letters and houses or colour them in with Fabrico pens.
ReplyDeleteA stained glass quilt with Summersville prints! Of course, that's what you should make =D
ReplyDeleteWhat to make? What to make? This is so exciting!
ReplyDeleteOooh da lolly! That's a sweet stack of Summersville. I can't wait to see what you make :-)
