Jazz Hands

Thank you all for your kind comments about my 


Jazz Hands EPP blocks!

I am slowly working on these...


Five down, seven to go!

Each block has 72 kite pieces in each 12" (point-to-

point) block, so it is quite slow going!


I have been toying with some ideas about how I 

might join the blocks?

The MO2 book, which I am basing my quilt on, has 
two options.....


a long strip....

or a diamond?


And I have also 'pinned' a triangular version...


I purchased a piece of Kaffe as a possible fabric 

choice?


I'd love to hear your thoughts on fabric and setting....

In the meantime, I have another set cut out ready to 


go!




Now I just need some more papers!

    I"m loving these! Your fabrics are so nice and cheerful. From just what I see here, it looks like the triangles would nicely repeat the shape.

    Always the contrarian, I'm voting for the strips. But honestly, anything will look great with blocks that awesome. They are so happy and just POP!

    That's a tough decision, I like them both! Your quilt will look wonderful either way you choose! Can't wait to see it finished!

    Looks great!!! I think triangles. Less background fabric in one shot, keeps the focus on the Jazz hands.

    I like the triangle because they also look like star points though any layout you choose will work because those blocks are stunning!! Gorgeous fabric choices, the yellow used in different parts really pops!

    Your blocks are looking gorgeous! I've always loved the quilts in the Material Obsession book but I think the triangles version will be amazing! The triangles will end up making big star points won't they? But whatever you choose it will be fantastic!

    The triangles jump out at me! I like the triangles. My second choice would be the strips. They look wonderful :)

    Hmmmm... Tough choice and if this was a vote i would loose but I like the strips best. The Kaffe Fasset is perfect. Love it :)
