Scrap Happy!

I'm participating in a new Flickr swap called Scrappy Swap

organised by Flutter from.Kat

(but more about her later)!

Besides sending scraps of fabric to my partner, I need to make a 'small scrap

inspired goodie'....

This is the first thing I have tried out...

A little thread catcher, perfect for catching all those threads while my partner is

hand stitching!

Or maybe my partner might like this little mug rug....

And the binding is not that wonky in real life, trust me!

What would you choose, partner?

Kat, our Swap Mama, has requested help with her "Cheeky Quilt"....

and this is what I'm sending along!

No charm packs, jelly rolls, fat quarters or yardage were harmed during the

making of this block!

ALL SCRAP!

What are you making from your scraps?

Happy days!

  9. Awesome - love the thread catcher, so cute and an interesting shape. I'm trying to bust through some scraps with the Go Baby at the moment, but I always get carried away and start cutting into my stash to supplement - I really need to be hard on myself and impose a 'scraps only' rule on some of my projects. It's pointless when your scrappy project leads to you making more scraps!
