House painting has usurped any hope of working on quilty things. I envy the time you have to work on your projects and look forward to seeing your finishes, especially your hand quilting project.
Not much in the last few days, I'm hoping to work on the Mystery Quilt blocks and start on the second Circle Game block today, fingers crossed. Both quilting projects look great, looking forward to seeing them finished.
Those are both lovely.... I have only done a tiny item by hand before.... and I love the setting of the blocks in the quilt you are doing by machine.... so busy.... I am fiddling around with trying to finish off and tidy up.. which means I make more mess.... Hugz
Good for you Suz! Isn't it wonderful to be checking off those UFO's! I need to get back to my spiderweb quilt...the rest of the week should be smooth sailing ;)
I love your very old UFO! I love the pattern and the colours. I am doing a Christmas wall hanging using 12 Days of Christmas, nearly finished the piecing - it does seem to be taking me ages. Hugs Linda
I love your tree! I can't wait to see how the handquilting turns out. I also really like all those shades of green. It's one of my favorite colors, though, so I suspect I'm biased.
Your Modern Sampler blocks are so vibrant. Gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteFun days ahead. I think the quilting is the funnest part of the process.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of quilting! Very nice projects. I am just working on bits and pieces myself. Hope to be to the quilting stage soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in the very old UFO and I also love the way the blocks are set. Keep going, you're almost done.

that is wonderful quilting! Your UFO looks a lot like something I am working on right now, nice to see a completed one looking good!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt you are working on by hand is really interesting and I love your color choices.
ReplyDeleteWow, such fun, the quilting part of two different quilts! I am missing the quilting as I seem focused on the piecing this summer.
