Very soon I will heading off on a little trip....
(Well, not so little!)
And I have been "flat out like a lizard lying in the sun"....
(An Australian expression!)
Getting on top of all my school reports, assessments and corrections!
But I did manage, in the last couple of days, to squeeze in a bit of sewing to
relieve the tension!
relieve the tension!
I cut into my stash of "From Little Things" by Sarah Fielke, which I won at Red Pepper Quilts a while back!
I decided on a pattern from the "Stitch" magazine my friend Colette sent me from the States!
And I am SO enjoying improvised piecing to a pattern!
That's what you call an oxymoron, isn't it?
It's a wonky half square log cabin!
It won't be finished before I head off, but that's okay!
There'll just be enough time for one last post before I leave...
Happy days!

Delicious fabric Suz! I've not tried improvised piecing with or without a pattern! but your pieces look great!
