This is a little of what I've been working on over the last couple of days.
A red one...
and an orange one...
And a blue one, pink one and purple one all cut out!
And there might even be 2 green ones!
But what will they become?
And this is my THIRD attempt at quilting my pram quilt!
(lots of unpicking and re-pinning!)
And it is far from perfect, but that's okay!
I have learnt a great deal from this exercise, so I figure I can only get better!
Come back soon to see a little bit more of this and that!
Happy sewing,
SUZ
I feel like I've been doing nothing but unpicking and unpicking quilting for weeks and weeks now and sometimes my stitches have got so small I can barely see them. Very boring indeed. Love your bright square patches - fab.
ReplyDeleteLove the colorus of your blocks - looking forward the end result!
ReplyDeleteLove your squares...I have worked up a few as well to add to my Eloise quilt. Your colors are so pretty! I think your machine quilting looks fairly perfect! Have a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so anxious to see what the colorful squares are going to become when they grow up.
ReplyDeleteMy machine quilting is getting better but still needs work.
Hugs - Marie
Oh, I love red so much, but that orange block is calling my name! :) And I think I would curl up in a ball and cry buckets of tears if I had to take out quilting...but someday I will grow up, get some wood, build a bridge and get over it!! HA! I truly admire you for making it perfect!! I am pretty new at this 'game' so I am sure my time's a-comin'! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI like your little bits and pieces blocks!! So many fun fabrics. I like the little donkey in the orange blocks. I'm already using your blocks as eye spy! Oh machine quilting... I'm psyching myself up... I really have to just start. Like you say, you can only get better, though your quilting looks good to me!
ReplyDeleteOooo--I am looking forward to this. And that ladybug is charming.
