I made three rugs using a loom made by my hubby and each one used at least 10 yards of fabric. Smaller looms are available for purchase to make mug rugs and easily uses up at least a yard of fabric each. I'm sure I'll be making cute patchwork bags like yours for my granddaughter when she gets older.somethingrosemade14@blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02973160061640897272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7230998891034875551.post-42274179462117115612017-10-11T22:36:13.236+11:002017-10-11T22:36:13.236+11:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14563890658788026639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7230998891034875551.post-6248909284062636342017-10-11T00:54:55.289+11:002017-10-11T00:54:55.289+11:00I admire you for not buying fabric "just beca...I admire you for not buying fabric "just because". The One Hour basket on Craftsy is a nice one. I've been even worse this year about controlling my purchases. The drawstring bags look lovely. And I do like the bag you made for pattern testing. Of course you can never have enough pillow cases.
I tend to make drawstring bags for the refugee group when I want to use up fabric I know will never go into quilts. It is still lovely but no longer to my taste.
I know that some people make bags to hold their quilts which sounds like a good idea - probably over sized pillow slips?
After that I am a bit stuck so will watch for ideas as they pop up on your blog.

Karen Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13465309380323203551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7230998891034875551.post-4514460419004494832017-10-08T07:34:08.065+11:002017-10-08T07:34:08.065+11:00Congrats! on making a commitment to sew from your ...Congrats! on making a commitment to sew from your stash.
