So and sew! ✂︎

So...

a mini Sew- Together Bag,

following Elizabeth's 'recipe' here

for a friend,

who is going to live in Seattle!

Including Melbourne prints such as

 Melbourne trams,

magpies and some of our suburbs named!

And this spotted fabric is meant to mimic the old

tram tickets from days gone by, I think!

I hope Allison thinks of Melbourne when she uses it.

Happy days!

  3. An STB is such a wonderful gift and I know how much work it is as I've made two of them now :-) Your fabrics are so wonderful! Looking at them makes me think of the lovely afternoon we spent together fabric shopping. And just yesterday I had my metro and magpie fabrics in my hands and was wondering what to sew... Well... Perhaps I will just look at them and think of Melbourne :-)

  4. The one you made looks so much more professionally made than mine does! I guess I need to make a mini so I can practice. Beautiful and such a thoughtful gift as well.

  12. Ooh! A mini! I like that idea. I have two of the normal size on the go. Maybe when I finish those I can make a smaller version.

  14. That Melbourne themed fabric is fabulous and your bag is really cute. I used to live in Melbourne and would love to get my hands on some of the fabric, who is the designer?
