Farming...

I have decided this section of "Melbourne Town",

is in the farming region!

This panel measures 16.5" square!

I think if I had started at this panel,

I would have stopped right here....

It would make an awesome mini!

Time to tackle this section....

with plenty of hand stitching of hexagons and

dresdens to contemplate!

Happy days!

SUZ

Foxes! There are foxes on the farm. Love those little fussy cut bits. And I'm so looking forward to seeing what you do with the next section. Lots of fun even if there are lots of little pieces to hand sew.

I love your clever use of fabrics for the architectural details and the fun colors you have put together. I can't wait until you're done.

Love it, the yellow gingham blocks remind me of silos.

Wow--this is fabulous. I agree that it would have made a lovely mini quilt. I also am impressed with your fussy cutting (esp. the puppy). Terrific!

The farm block is great. Love all the special fabrics to make up the animals. And the next block is fun. Love the bridge in that one.
These seem to be growing quickly!

Fabulous! Love the colour and fussy cuts in your farm. You're right, it would be a wonderful mini on its own. Just brilliant and I love it. Can't wait to see the next section you stitch up, Suz!

I hope that beagle will protect the sheep from those foxes! This one's a beauty, Suz, but can I say I think that next one is my favourite. It's going to be full on though, with all those curves and dresdens. Good luck - I can't wait to see it!

Oooo. How you've placed the little characters - the dog, and the bicycle - are too perfect! I've set aside some novelty prints that I hope to incorporate in mine too. You're doing such beautiful work! I love, love, love what you've come up with! Do you have any ideas about how you'll quilt this?!
