December's + and x Friendship Swap Block

Another month of the + and x Friendship Swap

has come to an end…

Carla and I are taking turns choosing the three

colours we will use each month…

(It is going way to quickly for my liking!)

This is a reminder of the palette we have based

our fabric choices on!

This month Carla chose red, pink and green!

Here are the blocks I sent Carla....

And a group shot before I 'packed them off'!

And here are the ones Carla sent me!

I will say it again -

Carla has THE best stash of fabric!

Aren't they Christmassy?

We are now up to month four!

Halfway!

For January I am choosing red, green and brown!

Each of the six colours will have been used twice at

the half way point!

Do you get the feeling I like to be organised

a control freak!?

Happy sewing!

I think 'organised' is a good thing! Your blocks look great, pink and green is such a lovely colour combo.

I love this block so much, and after finishing one with sashing, each time I see your blocks laid together, I want to make another without the sashing.

I've just been going through my bloglovin posts and found this post, I don't know how I totally missed it! Better late than never and I just have to say these blocks are fabulous, It's going to be great to see them all together once they're done.

I am envious of (the other) Carla's fabric stash. Mine still has a way to go. The quilts, yours and Carla's, are going to be gorgeous.

I think you have a pretty good stash too, judging from the gorgeous blocks you are producing.

I am sure enjoying seeing what the two of you are doing. These colors are great, and the finished quilt is going to be so yummy! Happy for you two to be enjoying your experience. Keep up the lovely sewing!
