Separated at Birth...

The first month of our "Friendship X and + Swap

Lolly Quiltz

comes to an end with the reveal of.....

these!

Carla has such a fabulous fabric stash....

aren't they pretty?

It is such fun making 'twins'.....

and sending four of them off

to meet their American cousins!

Now it's time to make November's twins...

And my turn to pick colours from our palette!

I declare 'brown, aqua and orange

this month's colours!

Here are some fabrics I have chosen so far!

Welcome to Sandra and Heidi

who are playing along now too!

Happy sewing!

Susan

The cousins look right at home in Australia! I agree with Mary: Orange, aqua and brown are so November-y and I'm sure will be a new favorite combo.

Very cute blocks. Great idea to pick a different combination each month. Why did I think it was Friday's we were posting?

I didn't know you we're changing colours each month, that make it even more fun. Aqua , orange and brown is a great combo!

Ohhh . . . just love how this first set of blocks turned out. I also didn't realize there would be different color palettes each month. Definitely will make for a very fun quilt.

I sure love what the two of you are doing. Your fabrics are just perfect, and the colors are simply yum. I really wish I had the time to join you. There just aren't enough hours in the day when life is out of control!
