Ooooops!

I may have started a new quilt....

I had the fabric,

thanks to a generous low-volume donation from Cindy...

supplemented with blacks, browns and greys!

(I certainly knew I didn't want another rainbow quilt...

these are my last three quilt finishes.... )

I had the book...

And I had a plan,

and a recipient in mind!

This is my progress so far....

I'm not making one hundred blocks,

probably 70 or so...

the schedule is three a week.

I'll be making two!

I am now all caught up...

I used this strip piecing method

to make this one a bit quicker!

So, that's six blocks...

and counting!

Happy sewing!

  4. You're off to a great start! The thing about Tula's book that is so refreshing is that it's more of a workbook with plenty of room to make notes. The low volume version you've started is going to be beautiful!

  10. Your last three quilts are so beautiful! I love your rainbow style! This new one is looking good too! I'm not sure if you remember I commented a while back about a Posy quilt I was making and I chose the sashing based on what I thought you'd choose. I finally finished the binding a couple day ago. I'll have to send you a pic and see if you approve;)
